Circuit Awards

Circuit Sire

The Circuit Sire Award recognizes a stallion with point-earning offspring competing in Circuit shows. To be eligible, the stallion must stand in the NRCHA Northwest Region; be nominated by the owner; and have three or more qualified offspring competing in Intermountain Circuit classes the year of the award. Standings are figured on the Circuit points earned by the offspring. There is no fee for nomination, but the stallion owner must submit the names of offspring competing in the current year within one week of the last Circuit approved show of the year
Note: Offspring must be qualified by meeting the minimum number of shows for awards qualification for their division (horse show, derby or futurity).

Produce of Dam Award

The Circuit Produce of Dam Award recognizes a mare with point-earning offspring competing in Circuit shows. To be eligible, the mare must reside in the NRCHA Northwest Region; be nominated by it’s owner; and have two or more offspring competing in Intermountain Circuit classes for the year of the award. Standings are figured on Circuit points earned by the two or more offspring showing at Circuit approved shows in the current year. There is no fee for nomination, but the mare owner must submit the names of offspring competing in the current year within one week of the last Circuit –approved show of the year.
Note: Offspring must be qualified by meeting the minimum number of shows for awards qualification for their division (horse show, derby or futurity).

Leading Owner

The Leading Owner Award recognizes the owner with multiple horses competing in Circuit shows for the year, based on points earned by horses shown and qualified for Circuit awards at Circuit approved shows.

Horse Career Achievement Awards

Career Achievement Awards are presented to horses winning multiple Intermountain Circuit Championships as a Snaffle Bit, Hackamore, Derby, 2-Rein and/or Bridle entry, based on accomplishments since 1998. (Excluding Youth Limited, Non Pro Limited, 1500 Bridle classes.)
